November 2022

For meditation this month, let’s focus on love. It has been my word of the year! (p.s. if you know your word for next year, please let me know to get ready for 2023.) So “what does love mean to me?” and “How do I show love to myself and others?” are the questions to contemplate. As we move further into the holiday season, hopefully this thought of love generates gratitude, any forgiveness needed, and caring in addition to the love shown to keep the holidays from being chaotic. For a neat reference to love, The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman gives a different perspective to things even for those at work or in the grocery store lane.

The Enjoy and Encourage (E&E) group hosted a potluck dinner this month. There are more events coming up and all are welcome to join. Send me a message if you are interested in doing new things, encouraging others, and enjoying time together.

The book club is reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. You’re welcome to join book club on Monday evenings at 7:30 pm central time.

In love, peace, and joy,

Emily

p.s. Many blessing to you all during the holiday season. I’ve sure been enjoying family time when I get the chance. Love for all!
