And to follow April’s message finally reaching your inbox is the message for May, as we head into the last month of the first half of the year. May was rest and rejuvenation for me as I adjusted to a new schedule for yoga and adjusted to the new items at work. Atlas, my dog, got to have plenty of cuddles as he adjusted to the changes as well. Some things may seem small though they can affect those around us, even pets. (He’s back to his energetic, tail wagging, and smiling self these days.) Either way filling (or maintaining) our own cup helps us be there for each other. Next month (June), the summer solstice is coming. Since it falls on a weekend with Father's Day we will be going through our ritual on the 26th of June. Please let me know if you are interested in participating virtually or in person. All are welcome. The Enjoy and Encourage (E&E) group has had multiple successful outings in May including learning to play disc golf and enjoying a picnic at the park for low cost and fun activities too. There are more events coming up and all are welcome to join. Send me a message if you are interested in doing new things, encouraging others and enjoying time together with E&E. Book club is continuing with a book by Napoleon Hill. If you’d like to join the book club on Monday evenings right after yoga class and/or have a book suggestion, please let me know. It is being hosted in person and virtually via Zoom and the discussions are lively and insightful. May’s contemplation is “Who or what defines the contents of my life?” This one is quite interesting as contents can be tangible and intangible items and defining our life is its own quandry. Peace, love, joy, gratitude, and blessings, Emily p.s. I enjoy hearing from you, and you are welcome to reply with any thoughts or questions!
