There has been a break in these love letters for a while. I also had taken a break on social media for a while. In the meantime, there has still been yoga practice and many other activities. I’ve learned a practice called potli therapy and have enhanced my skills in ayurveda. Ayurveda is something that has enhanced my wellbeing and really creates a beautiful relationship with nature. Not only that, there was a wellness and metaphysical fair in Indiana and some wonderful collaboration with Illinois valley community college and Nells Woodland for nature walks, meditation and asana. Many beautiful souls I have met during this time. I’ve also been able to take some vacation time to refresh in mother nature with friends and loved ones. I’m beyond grateful for the community that surrounds me in person and in thought. Thank you for your patience in the updates and still joining me on this journey.
This year I also expanded my knowledge on yin yoga to help out as a back up for a fellow yogi, on yoga nidra which is beautiful for rest, and received a certification in prenatal yoga. There is plenty to learn for sure and many things that can support wellbeing.
Summer has passed and the solstice event went really well. We combined the event with a Lightworkers group in the area and learned more about solstice and equinox transitions. We have made it more than a year of doing 108 sun salutations together and practicing healthy eating together as well. This Fall our equinox was fabulous with a wonderful turnout. The attendees brought some of their best cooking, which often seems to be the case! Mmmm
In this letter I’ll offer for meditation or contemplation “What is the worst that could happen if I let go of things that no longer serve me or How would I want to be encouraged right now?” Are there things in life that no longer serve you? How can we get to a pure simple life with enjoyment and light heartedness? Encouragement to keep going and doing our best in the current moment is surely a beautiful thing. What encourages you?

Enjoy and Encourage (E&E) has continued with a pool party, an equinox celebration and sharing of upcoming events for free for all those subscribed. We enjoy being able to support the local area and keep those around us informed. (For those outside of Illinois, we are willing to share tips with how we do this too!) Having good relationships with others definitely helps us all live longer and a more fulfilling life. Everyone has value!
The book club finished Love Does by Bob Goff. It was definitely memorable and enjoyable. Thank you to one of the members for recommending it and bringing us the joy from it. We are currently reading Outlive by Peter Attia about living longer and for a different perspective on medicine and longevity. You’re welcome to join book club on Monday evenings at 7:30 pm central time in person or online if you’re interested.
Much gratitude as we move into fall and see the leaves change colors as well as less fresh cut grass scent floating in the air. Life truly is full of magic and enjoyment! Thank you for being a part of mine.
In love, with love, as love,
Emily
